BIOMODULO is a self-bearing modular plastic element with special diffusers for making concrete beds and perforated floors for the distribution and diffusion of air with a reinforced concrete finish, accessible also to heavy vehicles.

BIOMODULO® elements are simply laid on a flat surface of smooth lean concrete; a reinforced concrete slab over the elements will complete the job. This way a perforated concrete bed is created, with a sub-slab void into which air is circulated, acting as a distribution- and pressurization-chamber.
Special accessories allow the containment of the perimeter during the pouring of the slab preventing grout loss; it is also possible to pour slabs with partial perforations.

BIOMODULO® was designed with a perforation suited for the airflow rates usually required for composting and air deodorization systems, and guarantees an optimal airflow distribution over the whole surface involved.
The distribution and the density of the perforation is usually customisable according to the specific requirements of the individual systems. The self-bearing structure offers an optimum load-bearing capacity, and, after pouring the reinforced concrete slab, creates a structure resistant even to heavy-vehicle transit (working load of 10,000 kg/sq mt).

BIOMODULO® is treadable even before the slab is poured, and it is manufactured with a blend of non-toxic, recycled plastic materials with high resistance, that remain unchanged over time
